As you may know, I’m a BIG foodie, so I thought I would compile a list of restaurants that I am yet to visit (yes you heard that right), and that I am dying to eat at. Most of the listed restaurants have somehow found their way onto my social media feed, and consequently ended up on this little list!
Sketch has to be one of the most quirkiest looking restaurants that is based in Mayfair, London. It’s known for it’s bold pink walls, mass of David Shrigley’s art work and egg-shaped toilets (that are all begging to be Instagramed). Sketch varies in cuisine options and also has menu tasting session available for all – which excited me a lot!
The Breakfast Club
The Breakfast Club is an 80’s obsessed restaurant/cafe based in the heart of Soho. Everything in the restaurant screams retro and vintages, from the My Little Pony wallpaper, neon signs, to ’80s decor. There food is said to be inspired by the Cuisine of the United States (which is incredibly appealing to me, given that I am yet to go to America and try out their cuisine first hand).
HotBox is the American BBQ specialist that offers platters of ribs and ‘other hearty fare’, in addition to cocktails to help wash down that meaty-goodness. They combine their method of dry rubbing the meat and slow cooking (in a bloody Rotisserie Smoker) to create a “tender, succulent cuts that melt in the mouth”. If that doesn’t make you hungry then I don’t know what will!
Ladurée is known renownedly for its luxurious macarons, pastries and French luxury bakery. Me and my mum love to indulge in Ladurée’s afternoon tea and have also eaten from their brunch menu, however we are yet to eat from the main menu. I’m also slightly obsessed with the art deco and interior that you see at every Ladurée outlet.
And there you have it, these are (currently) the restaurants that I am dying to eat at, and (up until now) have not been fortunate enough to eat at!
