Beauty | My Contouring Favourite’s

Right then guys, I thought I’d jump in at the deep end and show you my go-to contour products, that I swear by. I’ve tried dozens of different products by different make-up brands, but I have four that I LOVE and regularly alternate between. You’re probably wondering what these products are, so I may as well stop blabbing on and show you them!

First up is my Anastasia Beverly Hills Pro Series Contour Cream Kit in the shade ‘Medium’. My skin has a yellowy / olive undertone, so I was torn between choosing the ‘Medium’ or ‘Light’ kit, but I did end up purchasing the ‘Medium’ colour kit. I love this contour pallet, as a little really does go a long way. The formula is relatively thick, which is what initially drew me to the product. I use a damp Beauty Blender to apply my highlight shades – damp being imperative or your under-eye area will look cakey – not cute. For the sculpting / darker shades, I mix shades ‘Cinnamon’ and ‘Chocolate’ together, giving me the best colour for my skin tone. I apply this with my MAC 249 Brush and blend out using my Real Techniques Sculpting brush.Screen Shot 2016-04-07 at 17.04.51

Next is my Anastasia Beverly Hills Pro Series Contour Kit in the shade Medium – Tan (powder). I usually use this pallet to set my cream contour. I LOVE this contour kit and it even comes with a highlight shade – 10K which is SOO pigmented. I use this palette, as previously mentioned, to set my cream contour and when I’m being lazy I’ll use it by itself. I apply this using my ELF Angled brush for the perfect finish and in the hope that my contour lasts all day.

My two ABH products are on the pricey side, but they are worth the money. Plus, being a uni student has its perks aka student discount :).

My third contouring product that I love is my LA Pro Girl Concealer in the shade Fawn. I bought this not too long ago, and it’s a really inexpensive product that has a creamy and easy-to-apply formula. I was a little spectacle in trying this because most of the darker contouring shades had like an orangy undertone. However when I apply this to my face the orangy undertone is far from noticeable. I apply this product with the wand/application brush it comes with and blend out using both my damp Beauty Blender and Real Techniques Sculpting brush.Screen Shot 2016-04-12 at 20.32.48.png

My last favourite isn’t really a contour product by I find myself regularly using it to sculpt and contour my face. The product in question is my MAC Bronzing Powder in the shade ‘Golden’. I’ve always had this product in my make-up bag ever since I starting using make-up and its defiantly one of my go-to goodies. This product is ideal for contouring or bronzing, and easy to apply. I apply this bronzer using a MAC 109 brush or  Revlon blush brush. (The bronzer has come up pretty dark on my camera (not too sure why), its much lighter in person!)

So thats it! They are my top 4 contour products AKA  my holy grail and go-to products that I loveeeee.

(btw, I’m no beauty guru, these are just my favourite and go-to contour products).

 Enjoy ✌🏽
