As some of you may know, I’m currently an undergraduate student who lives in London, but studies in Birmingham (a whole 141 miles away). Which means, it’s fair to say that I’ve had my fair share of traveling to and from the two cities, via car, train, coach and even tube.

Fashion | My Polyvore

So today I decided to set myself up a bloglovin account (which you can all follow ;)), and I came across a site called ‘POLYVORE’ that most users I follow use. So me being the nosey person that I am I decided to set myself up an account and see what all the fuss was about, and I’m already in love with it.
Polyvore is a site where you can create outfit boards, otherwise known as ‘sets’, and mix and match clothing items and accessories from online stores to create the perfect look(s). The site is perfect for creating ‘wish lists’ and using images without violating anything copyright infringement laws – perfect for bloggers.

Lifestyle | Tips to get Motivated

As a student, I can sometimes struggle to get motivated – whether that’s to complete my assignments, or get out of bed on my day off. However, I feel that it’s important to have goals and in order to reach our goals we need to be motivated.

So for today’s blog post I’ve listed below the ways I get motivated and the things that I do during the day to keep myself motivated and working towards my goals.

1. Start the day with a good (healthy) breakfast

I think it’s important to start the day right and with a healthy breakfast. However, I am the first to admit that I sometimes skip eating breakfast altogether. I’ve been told that it’s imperative to eat a nutritional breakfast as it acts as fuel for the brain and provides improved concentration and performance – two things needed to be motivated. When I do have a healthy breakfast (which is 70% of the time), I will usually have at least once piece of fruit with a bowl of cereal/muesli and a coffee.

Food | Stir Fry on a Budget

As a full time student I know how it feels to eat on a budget – sad times yes. However, I recently discovered that it’s possible to make a delicious and easy stir fry that won’t hurt the bank. For just 7£ you can buy all the ingredients needed from Marks and Spencer’syes, you heard correctly, Marks and Spencer’s!

If I’m not mistaken, it’s a relatively new meal deal thats been introduced to the food chain, which is music to my ears. for essentially two meals (so basically 3.50£ per meal) can not be beaten – considering the ingredients are all from M&S, notoriously known for their premium pricing (if you ask students).

This particular stir fry (and recipe) is student friendly (and dummy proof) as it’s really quick to cook / make and requires minimal effort, perfect for lazy students like myself. Continue reading

I can visualise that a lot of you are wondering why on earth I would set up a blog. Well, as some of you may know, I have a lot to say – Surprise, Surprise. So I thought, why not channel this all into a blog? And vowala the day has finally come and I bring you all Claudia Raquel.

Whether it’s about my day, fashion, beauty, food, or just me generally rambling on (which I do so often, and somehow already managing to do now) – it will be here.
